Logic Forte currently collects daily Ticket Time averages from the Micros DSR report. This report includes averages for each type (e.g. Stall, Drive Thru, Patio, Call In, etc), but does NOT include a daily overall Ticket Time so we calculate this ourselves using a weighted average method.
Sample Logic Forte Calculation (using data from sample Micros DSR report below)
Combined Ticket Time = 04:16 = (04:17 x 532 + 02:09 x 10 + 15:19 x 1) / 543
NOTE: The ticket counts in the Micros DSR include incomplete tickets, which we do not normally include in Ticket Time calculations. If a location only has a few incomplete tickets per day, our Combined Ticket Time is rarely affected by this issue. If a location has a large number of incomplete tickets, this could cause our Combined Ticket Time to be incorrect.
Daily Ticket Time Discrepancies on Micros Bluebook Report
Please be aware that the Micros Bluebook report currently shows an INCORRECT daily average Ticket Time. Based on the example above, the correct average Ticket Time for the day is 04:16. The Micros Bluebook report currently shows 07:15 for this same location and date.
Per-Ticket Ticket Times Unavailable for Micros POS
We collect Ticket Times on a per-ticket basis for most Point of Sale platforms, which allows you to drill-down and view Ticket Times per shift, per hour, or even per ticket. However, the per-ticket data we receive from Micros POS does not currently include enough detail to calculate Ticket Times on a per-ticket basis.
